I don’t have anything to say this morning.  I don’t even have a really good sketch to show you.  I sort of got lost in this one and messed it all up.  It’s a take on an old airline ad from the 1960’s but it also reminds me of those weird contorted sculpturesque sketches Picasso did…. except this one is ugly.  Have a great friday!

I hardly believe it.  1000 posts of original content. Amazeballs.  1000 examples of taking 10 minutes before every day (or between projects during the day) to sketch, a little, or scan on old drawing or something.  I know, not a lot of this work is finished, but still, 1000 ideas.  Hooray!

So I am working on this really interesting design job - that has me trolling high end department store sites for research.  The problem is research turns into “research” when I start shopping for fall in JUNE.  Like these amazing shoes that I had to have.  In the name of “research”.  At least they inspired a collage….
